Senator Craig Wilcox to Host ICASH Unclaimed Property Event in McHenry
Woodstock, IL— State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) is partnering with the Illinois Treasurer’s Office on Wednesday, July 22, with hopes of connecting residents of the 32nd Senate District with more than $5 billion in unclaimed property and cash.
From 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the McHenry VFW Hall, attendees can meet with a counselor from the Treasurer’s Office to learn if some of the unclaimed items are theirs.
In addition to helping people search for property and cash, counselors can help them file claims.
“We have had tremendous success in helping people find cash and property they didn’t even know they were owed,” said Wilcox.
“My staff actively works on connecting constituents with cash and property owed to them, and over the last few years we have put close to $4 million in the hands of residents of the 32nd District.”

More Than $30,000 Recovered at Senator Hills’ ICASH and I-PASS Event
I was so glad to welcome residents to our recent ICASH and I-PASS event!
These events are a great opportunity to connect people with valuable state services all in one place.
Whether it was helping residents search for unclaimed property through ICASH or assisting drivers with I-PASS questions and account services, it was wonderful to see so many people take advantage of these resources.
One woman who attended was able to recover more than $30,000, plus interest, that belonged to her mother.
Stories like this are exactly why I enjoy hosting these events.
You never know what you might find, and it’s incredibly rewarding to help residents reclaim money that may have been sitting unclaimed for years while also making everyday services like I-PASS more accessible.
