“Silent Majority” Demonstration in McHenry – Religious Aspects

The invitation announces the demonstration because of President Trump’s having asked for a Day of Prayer.

My apologies for the delay in posting this photoes.

It appears over one hundred turned came out.

One woman didn’t restrict hers to the 1:30 hour. She prayed in front of McDonald’s for the whole two hours.

This was a peaceful demonstration and this police car was not needed.

As with the No Kings demonstrations, any number of causes were promoted.

Today, we shall look at ones with a religious angle.

A different take on the liberals’ No Kings was present.

State Senator Craig Wilcox sat behind a poster with a photo of Governor Pritzker below “No Kings.”

Since the invitation flyer askes for people to come after church, it is no surprise that religious signs were present.

Here is a better view of the sign.

One woman was wearing a “Faith” ring.

This woman’s sign says, “America – Raised on Christian Values.”

This person has a T-shirt proclaiming membership in Richmond’s St. Joseph’s Church. Around a drawing odf the church appears “Supporting Our Parrish.”
