McHenry County Water Forum Wednesday, September 16th
5:30–8pm McHenry County College
The ninth annual McHenry County Water Forum will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 at the McHenry County College Luecht Auditorium (Building B), 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake.
The forum is hosted by the McHenry County Department of Planning and Development, with generous support from the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County and a wide range of sponsors.
This year’s theme is “Water Sustainability,” featuring presentations by Illinois State Water Survey hydrogeologists Dan Hadley and Vlad Iordache, and McHenry County Water Resources Specialist Scott Kuykendall.
The Water Forum is free and open to the public, and free catered food will be provided by Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen.
This year will feature multiple serving lines to provide faster service.
No registration is required…all they ask is for guests to bring their curiosity and an appetite.
For more information, visit the McHenry County Water Resources Division website at www.mchenryH2O.com, or contact Scott Kuykendall at SHKuykendall@mchenrycountyil.gov.
