PFAS Class Action Litigation
The Village received its first settlement disbursement from 3MCompany (“3M”) back in August of 2025. Since then, two additional settlement disbursement letters have been received from Dupont and Tyco.
The gross value of the disbursable Dupont Phase One Action Fund Award is $44,535.62, which is then reduced by firm costs and attorney’s fees, bringing the net disbursement of this payment to $34,384.39.
The gross value of the disbursable Tyco Action Fund Award is $43,761.08, which has also been reduced by firm costs and attorney’s fees, bringing the net disbursement of this payment to $33,856.29.
With the Board’s acceptance of the settlement distributions, the Village Administrator would be authorized to execute and submit the required Payment Forms.
