From the Sheriff’s Office;
On June 17, 2025, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a check for wellbeing on Hughes Road near Woodstock.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased female with a gunshot wound, identified by the McHenry County Coroner as Laurana Talo, age 27 of Walworth, Wisconsin.
At this time, the Sheriff’s Office has found no evidence of foul play or involvement by any other individuals.
There is no threat to the public and the investigation remains ongoing.
