Here’s what I found in the Telegraph about election results in Hackney, which appears to be something like a ward in Chicago:
“The Labour-run council had dragged its feet over planning issues that would allow typically large and overcrowded families to build extensions upwards, causing great frustration.
“By contrast, the Hackney Greens have shrewdly met with representatives and agreed to loosen the rules on residential extensions.”
“Building up” and “adding extensions ” seem pretty similar to what Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is proposing.
