From the Lakewood Police:
Today, the Lakewood Police were approached by a resident who wanted to inform us of the following: Around 2am this morning, an animal the resident suspected to be a Bobcat or similar species was observed climbing up a tree in the area of Turnberry Trail and Bard Road.
The Lakewood Police have received no other reports of a wild animal in the area.
We have not been able to confirm this sighting but do want to make residents aware of this report so they can be aware. Lakewood Police Police will also notify McHenry County Animal Control of this report.
