Don Tracy: Stratton Not Only Attacking Republicans, She’s Attacking Traditional Democrats
SPRINGFIELD — Republican U.S. Senate candidate Don Tracy today responded to Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton’s attack on Michigan Democrat Congresswoman Haley Stevens after Stevens endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate. Stratton called the move a “complete betrayal.”
“Lt Gov. Stratton has declared war on mainstream Americans, including Democrats,” Don Tracy said. “Illinois has never had a US Senator this extreme or this dangerous. If Stratton wins, our families will pay the price. Not only is she against Republicans, Stratton is against traditional Democrats, and all in on her support for the most radical members of her party, extremists like Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan.
“Whatever Lt Gov Stratton has said, she isn’t running for the US Senate to make the people’s lives better. Instead, she’s running to ‘deliver’ on extreme policy proposals and ‘fight’ everyone, including traditional Democrats, who don’t join her in supporting the agenda of the Democrat Socialist Party of America (DSA).
“Illinoisans need a US Senator who will work for common sense solutions to lower the cost of living by reducing inflation, support law enforcement, maintain a secure border, and represent all 102 counties, not just the Socialist wing of the Democrat Party. Juliana Stratton just made it clear that’s not who she is. Illinoisans should choose carefully this Tuesday.”
