Personal Injury Accident Compton and Mahogany Drive

Algonquin, Illinois – October 22, 2025 – At approximately 5:07 p.m., Algonquin Police Officers, along with personnel from the Algonquin–Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District, responded to a report of a vehicle crash into a residence near Compton Drive and Mahogany Court.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a Ford pickup truck had been traveling east on Compton Drive, left the roadway and struck the front of a home on Mahogany Court.

The residents were inside the home at the time of the incident but were not injured.

The driver of the vehicle and sole occupant, a 26 year old male from Algonquin, Illinois, sustained injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital for treatment.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and there is no indication that alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash but rather a potential medical episode contributing.

The Algonquin Police Department continues to investigate the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
