You’ve probably read stories about the man yelled racial slurs at his seatmate on American Flight 618 from Dallas to Newark and was so violent that he was duck taped to his seat.
What you have not read about is the man who was attacked.
His name appeared as the author of one whose books I read in one day.
His name is Jonathan Cahn.
He is a Messianic Jew, so we can probably guess what the “racial slur” was.
Today a video of Cahn showed up on my wife’s Facebook feed.
He was on a tour to promote his most recent book, “The Altar of Pergamon.”
The Dark Angel on the cover represents Satan.
I have never heard of Pergamon, so I Googled it and found a YouTube video which explains it, including how Hitler and Obama copied it.

So, it seems the book is about the devil.
Cahn says Peramon is “the thrown of Satan.”
It came out two days before the attack.
The start of his next book was in it, as well as that for “The Altar of Pegamon,” subtitledT “The Mystery of the dark Angel and the Future of the World.”
And Satanic intervention is how Rabbi Cahn explains what happened on the plane.
The forty-eight explanation is certainly not succinct, but it details how his assigned seat was mysteriously switched.
His seatmate was a real estate guy and “totally friendly” in the beginning.
Cahn likes to get work done on his computer while flying,
He could do some things, but had to rely on his cell phone. It kept shutting down when he tried to make calls.
When the to-be-duck tape man offered to help and touched his screen, a larger part turned black.
Cahn reveals he was an atheist, but became a Christian.
His seatmate was not receptive.
The reason: “Christians were religious hypocrites.”
Cahn’s rebuttal was that the people who opposed Jesus were religious hypocrites.
“Well, how do you know God is real?” his seatmate asked.
Cahn explains that he became a Christian because what he read in the Bible about Jews is coming true.
“He’s smiling and commenting friendly. Great.”
Cahn told that he got hit by a train and became “born again.”
Cahn told of what he believes was divine intervention when had finished hie first book, but had no publisher.
He’s in an airport, prays for help, opens his eyes and the man next to him led him to a publisher.
Continuing he tells of how three Christians at different times and places prayed over the Brazilian woman who became his wife and told her the exact same thing, that “There’s a man across the world. He’s Jewish. He’s from the tribe of Levi. He ministers around the world. You’re to become his helper, his wife. Prepare yourself.”
“Every thing was friendly and great” while they were on the plan for a couple of hojrs.
“Then, everything changed.”
“It happens in a second.
“He turns to me and he looks different,”
“He whispers, ‘Bulls—.”
“Are you sayin g I made it up?” Cahn asked.
The seatmate continiued saying the same thing.
“Jesus is Bulls–.”
Cahn says he had never seen something change from light to dark as he did then.
“As if something had taken him over.”
No story, no person, even on the plane knows what happened.
“They had no idea what happened, what cuaed it.
An Air Marshall said, “It’s not crazy to say that he had some kind of mental episode or break.”
“When I spoke of the Gospel and the power of God, he suddenly changed,”
“The he said “Go f–k yourself.”
the seatmate when from being pleasant to being “filled with hatred and rage.'”
Chan explains, “That was not natural.”
Cahn decides to stay go himself and get some work done.
All of sudden, the man by the plane’s window becomes pleasant again.
After a while he again curses Jesus, God and Cahn.
Cahn said, Shh. You’re going to get in trouble.”
He gets quiet again.
That morning, however, “a large verticle rectangular blotch of darkness right in the middle” of his screen. Still he could use it for some things.’
The man knocks rhe compute two times.
He wouldn’t stop when asked.
The computer ended up looking like this:
The guy got loud and disturbed everyone in that part of the plane.
A flight attendant came over and told him, “You have to stop.”
More vulgarities, probably including the racial slur.
Other on the plane become his target.
Cahn reports that a number of the articles suggest that was what this was about and got him duck taped to his seat.
No, that was not. It was symptom of what was happening…It was not the reason he ended up duck taped.”
The seatmate again got pleasant.
Cahn tries not to engage.
The man reached across and put his hands on my neck like a choke hold, but “he’s joking as if he’s showing me something.”
Ana attendant came over and said, “Turn to the window and don’t engage anyone.”
He was quiet for a while.
When he began to get agitated again, to distract him Cahn showed him the cover of the new book on his computer.
“It triggers him.
“Suddenly he reacts. He’s saying, ‘What? What? What did you do? What did you do?”
“I’m thinking what time of entity would say that?”
An episode of cursing Jesus.
And, I’m telling him ‘Stop.'”
The guy continues speaking with anger, “fury against me.”
“He’s raging and raising his voice.”
“Now he gets out of his chair, stands to his feet
“From that point, it’s a continual escalation from when he saw the cover of “The Alar of Pergamon.
“Gets out of his chair leans over the people ahead of us, two women, ‘and says, ‘Do you believe in Jesus?”
“I will crush your f–ing Jewish face in.”
“I don’t look at him. I signal to the attendants. They’re in the front.”
Cahn motions for them to come back.
“And then he starts hitting me” in the chest.
Cahn thinks the seatmate was trying to provoke a fight.
He continues to be hit, in the face now, and Cahn says, “We need help here. Help here. We need help.”
“The attendants don’t know what to do.”
Cahn thinks, “The enemy, the devil, hates your computer. He’s going to use this man to try to grab it and destrop it.”
Cahn closed his computer took his cell phone and started standing up to get out into the aisle.
“I wanrt my computer away from him.”
“He lunges violently, violently toward me and the computer as if he had a mission that he has to destroy that computer, the laptop. He grabs the laptop violently trying to wrest it out of my hand..He’s wanting to smash it, destroy it…The cover just trigger this thing. And he’s pulling it with all his might.”
Cahn was strongly resisting.
“The plane is in shock.
“The pilot is radioing the ground for an emergency landing.
“We’re wrestling.
It is written, “We wrestle not against fe=lesh and blood, but against powers and principalities of evil.”
Two men from two rows up came to his rescue. A third came from the back of the plane.
“The man starts screaming. At tines irt sounded inhuman. I couldn’t even get any words. He’s screaming. The whole plane is silent staring, trying to see what’s happening.
“The flight attendants give the men duct tape…
“They tape him to the seat.”
And they did.
“He was restrained because of what was happening to me.”
One of the two men cameand sat next to Cahn.
In a light-hearted mood, Cahn said it was OK, “but if you attack me, I’ll duck tape you.
“Well, he turns to me and says, ”You were being tested. God was testing you. Turns out he was a beilever.”
Later a guy comes up from behind and says, “You’re on television and the internet. I watch you every day.”
“Well, now you.ve watcher me in person,” Cahn replied.
The news stories that followed “did not know the real story behind what happened.
“It was all spiritual.
“See, the spiritual realm is more real than the physical.

Cahn states that the devil’s strategy is to cut things off at the beginning, using threats to Moses and Jesus when they were babies.
“The enemy is a preemptor,” Cahn says.
On the day of the books release, thousands of orders on Amazon could not be fulfilled. “Amazon could not explain it.”
A second book company sent emails saying those who had put in orders would not get until October.
