Patient Airlifted Following Fall in Bull Valley
On Monday, August 31, 2026, at 12:45 p.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to the 400 block of N. Valley Hill Road in Bull Valley for a reported fall victim.

While responding, crews were provided additional information that an adult male had reportedly fallen approximately 20 to 30 feet from a ladder and was believed to have lost consciousness as a result of the fall.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived and located the man lying on the ground at the base of the house, suffering from multiple traumatic injuries.
Paramedics immediately began assessing and treating the patient.
Due to the severity of his injuries and the circumstances of the fall, a medical helicopter was requested.
The patient was transported by ambulance to the Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital helipad, where care was transferred to the flight crew.
He was subsequently airlifted to a Level 1 Trauma Cente
