From Illinois Policy:

Proposed toll hikes would cost drivers $17 billion in next 15 years

The Illinois Tollway board next month could approve the biggest increase in passenger tolls in state history.

You can tell the board here to reject the hike.

The tollway proposes raising passenger tolls by about 45 cents each and commercial tolls by 30%, starting Jan. 1, and adding automatic increases every two years starting in 2029.

The Illinois Policy Institute conservatively estimates that the hikes will cost tollway users an additional $17 billion through 2042.
