I’ll be watching for changes in the Daily Herald now that the Chicago Tribune has finalized its purchase of the largest suburban paper.

Printing will still be done at the Daily Herald printing plant, which it purchased in May of 2023.
Pretty much all, if not all Chicago newspapers are printed at the Schaumburg plant.
The owners of the Northwest Herald sought to buy the Daily Herald, but got outbid.
The Tribune offered to pay 30% more than any other offer.
