Obama Library Cruelly Disenfranchises Millions Of Black Americans By Requiring Photo ID For Entry

The rule will prevent Library access to virtually all black citizens, who cannot obtain photo ID in the United States. Critics say this will essentially make Obama’s Library a whites-only building, echoing the horrific discrimination of the Jim Crow era.
“It is absolutely disgusting that Obama would build a Library and then not let black people inside,” said NAACP President Derrick Johnson. “The photo ID requirement at the Obama Library is worse than chattel slavery and Jim Crow combined. It’s bad enough that we can’t vote, but now we cannot even go inside the library of our first black President. How cruel can you get?”
