Currently there is nothing in writing concerning how County Administrators shall be selected.
Of course, it requires a majority vote of McHenry County Board members, but beyond that it’s pretty much a blank slate, except what may be contained in an Administrator’s contract.
No more after Tuesday’s meeting, however.
