State law says the first installment of property taxes in McHenry County is supposed to be June 1st.
Additionally, they are supposed to be mailed thirty days before the due date.
Concurrent with mailing the bills, tIve he information has traditionally been posted on the Treasurer’s web site.
I’ve been checking daily for about a weekly clicking here and so far nothing has been posted.

County Treasurer Donna Kurtz writes, “Tax bills will be mailed this Friday. This is in line with our typical schedule. Due dates are June 9 and September 9.”
