At its next meeting, the Fox River Grove Village Board is scheduled to pass the following downtown development ordinance:

Ordinance 2026-11, Rezoning & Special Use – Planned Unit Development – Block B The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance that would rezone a portion of Block B (301 Opatrny Drive and 303 Opatrny Drive, 300 Northwest Highway, 304 Northwest Highway, 306 Northwest Highway, 308 Northwest Highway, 310 Northwest Highway, 312 Northwest Highway, 314 Northwest Highway, and 316 Northwest Highway) from B1 to B2, and grant a special use for a planned unit development with approximately 97 apartments and 6,000 square feet of commercial space, as well as parking and tenant amenities to serve these uses on the block.
