There are three videos included in Legal Insurrection’s story on the killing of Jews in Australia yesterday at a Hanukkah celebration.
When I read and watched it before going to church this morning, there was about a ten-minute video taken from across the street of two men with rifles shooting many shots from a raised platform with steps going down both sides and a ramp up from the street.
The video was chilling.
One could not see people being shot, just the two men shooting.
At one point, one of them went down the stairs to the left and started shooting from next to a tree.
Another man wrestled the long gun from him, pointed it at him, but did not shoot him as he returned to the platform. (That video is still up.)
While the second man was at ground level the other one turned toward the camera (which he obviously did not know was recording or he would have shot whoever was holding the camera) and lifted his arm up several times shouting two words.
Shooter bumped fist up twice and shouted two words.
During virtually the entire ten minutes of the missing video, sirens cold be heard, but no police could be seen on the street between the camera and the platform, which the Tribune says was a footbridge to the beach.
Australia has strict gun laws. Semi-automatic weapons are banned, explaining, I guess, the single shots I heard.
The Tribune photos are mainly of victims and paramedics.

“The man who disarmed one of the Sydney attackers has been identified 43-year-old Ahmed Al Ahmed. Ahmed, who is being hailed a hero for his actions, was shot 2 times. He’s expected to be ok.”
