From a Friend of McHenry County Blog:
Newly-elected and previously sworn in Algonquin Township Clerk Millie Medendorp told those not previously inducted into office to raise their hands and repeat after her.

The Republican Primary Election results can be seen in the article below. No Democrats filed, so the FOP Primary was, in effect, the deciding election, with the April 1st voting making no difference.
After the swearing in ceremony, those who will rule Algonquin Township for the next four years posed in front of the Algonquin Township sign.

From left to right are Assessor Richard Alexander, Clerk Millie Medendorf, Trustee Robert Becker, Trustee Teresa Sharpe Decker, Supervisor Richard Tado, Highway Commissioner Danijela Sandberg, Trustee Theresa Fronczak, and Trustee Eduardo Aviles.
A lot of elected officials joined the start of the new term.

There were a minimum of 50-60 people i attendance as well as a lot of elective officials.
