In his TV show “The Apprentice,” Donald Trump fired Rod Blagojevich.

Now President Trump is reported to be considering hiring him as Ambassador to Serbia.

The source is “Poliltico,” but Illinois TV stations are picking up the story:

President Donald Trump is considering nominating former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who served eight years in prison on corruption charges, to be U.S. ambassador to Serbia, according to two people familiar with the discussions.

Trump pardoned Blagojevich over the objections of every Republican Member of Congress in 2020.

And, of course, the crook was impeached by the Illinois General Assembly.

Blagojevich is the only past Illinois Governor whose photo is not hanging in the Hall of Governors.
