Serious Injury After Dirt Bike Crash in Unincorporated Woodstock
On May 23, 2026, at 5:20 p.m., Woodstock Fire/Rescue District paramedics responded to the 400 block of N. Fleming Road in unincorporated Woodstock for a reported dirt bike crash on private property.
Crews arrived and located an adult male suffering from a serious lower-extremity injury.
Due to the severity of the injury, a medical helicopter was requested and met the ambulance at the helipad at Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital.
The patient was then airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for further treatment. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported during the incident. The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
