From the Crystal Lake Fire/Rescue Department:
7300 block of Gleneagle Circle – Lakewood
Crystal Lake, IL – Crystal Lake Fire Rescue (CLFR) was dispatched to a single-family residence in the 7300 block of Gleneagle Circle in Lakewood for multiple juveniles who hem.
While en route, Battalion 3 requested LifeNet (medical transport helicopter) to be placed on standby and upgraded the response to
bring additional Crystal Lake Fire Rescue crews to the scene.
Upon arrival, incident command was established, and CLFR crews confirmed a total of three patients.
Command requested LifeNet to a designated landing zone for a Level I transport.
Patient care was transferred to the LifeNet medical crew at the landing zone.
LifeNet transported the patient to a Level I Trauma Center, where they remain in serious but stable condition.
The other two patients were treated and released on scene by additional Crystal Lake Fire Rescue crews.
