Woodstock Fire News Release: Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Hartland Road
On Thursday, March 19, 2025, at 4:07 p.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to the 2400 block of Hartland Road in unincorporated Woodstock for a reported vehicle crash with a possible water rescue.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed a serious single-vehicle crash.
The vehicle had left the roadway, shearing off approximately 150 feet of guardrail along the west side of the road before rolling into a marsh area.
The adult male driver was out of the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. He was evaluated by paramedics on scene for minor injuries and transported to a local hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
