Collin Corbett Hosting Mainstream Independent Town Hall Tour in 8 Suburban Communities

Town Halls Will Show Those Frustrated with Both Political Parties that There is a Mainstream Candidate to Vote FOR This Election

PALATINE, IL — Independent candidate for Governor Collin Corbett is taking his message directly to voters in the final weeks of the election by hosting town halls in 8 suburban communities.

“Voters are frustrated with both political parties, and many are thinking of staying home this election.

“77% of voters didn’t vote in the Primary Election.

“Those are the voters we’re targeting because they’re like Carolyn and I—we don’t have a home in either political party as both have become so extreme,” said Collin.

“We’re coming directly to the voters, talking about the issues that matter most to them, and letting them know there is a mainstream candidate they can vote for this election instead of against.”

The Mainstream Independent Town Hall Tour will make the following stops:

  • Oak Lawn: Friday, October 16th, 6p-7:30p at Johnson-Phelps VFW
  • Round Lake Park: Sunday, October 18th, 3:30p-5p at American Legion Post 1170
  • Plainfield: Monday, October 19th, 6p-7:30p at the Plainfield American Legion
  • Cary: Wednesday, October 21st, 6p-7:30p at Galati’s Hideaway
  • Rockford: Friday, October 23rd, 5:30p-7p at the Veterans Memorial Hall and Museum
  • West Dundee: Monday, October 26th, 6:30p-8p at Randall Oaks Golf Club
  • Glen Ellyn: Tuesday, October 27th, 6:30p-8p at MK Steak
  • Palatine: Wednesday, October 28th, 6p-7:30p at the Palatine American Legion

Unlike the two major party candidates’ events, these town halls are open to the general public, and Collin and Carolyn will take questions directly from the audience.

They will host a full discussion on their common sense solutions to lower costs for working families and raise everyone’s wages.

“Unlike my opponents, I’m not afraid to answer tough questions.

“I don’t need a favorable moderator or pre-screened questions, because Illinoisans deserve more than rehearsed talking points,” Collin added.

“Working families deserve a leader who will talk directly to them, speak on the issues that matter to them, and present real, actionable solutions to the problems we’re facing.”
