The Journal of the American Medical Association published a study of vaccination exemptions for every county in the country on January 14, 2026.
Non-medical childhood vaccination requirements (mainly religious, I think) were calculated across the USA.
The Illinois Medical Association picked it up and ran this headline on August 10th:

I’m colorblind, so the percentage of non-medical childhood vaccination exemptions may be off.
What is see is under one percent from 2010-20, increasing to under two percent from 2020-24.
Our family would have been one of those seeking a medical exemption for religious reasons our son after the quite scary.
The reasoning, which no school challenged, was that in evcery book in the Bible Godraidtells his people not to be afraid…and we were.
