Reported Shooting Incident on Admiral Drive
On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 4:21 p.m., the Harvard Fire Protection District responded to the 100 block of Admiral Drive in Harvard for a reported possible gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, paramedics quickly determined that no individuals had been shot.
Instead, a female had sustained a critical leg injury after being struck by a gas strut or spring-loaded component of a vehicle.
Due to the severity of her injuries, the patient was airlifted to a Level I Trauma Center for further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation by the Harvard Police Department. No additional information is available from the fire district at this time.
