Driver Extricated Following Rollover Crash on St. Johns Road
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 10:37 a.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to the 1000 block of St. Johns Road following reports of a vehicle crash with a person trapped.

Firefighter/paramedics arrived within minutes and located a vehicle resting on its roof in the middle of the roadway.

An adult female driver, who was the sole occupant of the overturned vehicle, was located inside and was unable to exit on her own.
Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and worked to safely extricate the driver.

Due to the reported entrapment and mechanism of the crash, a medical helicopter was initially placed on standby.
After the driver was evaluated by paramedics, the helicopter was no longer needed.
The driver was subsequently transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Firefighters learned the overturned vehicle had struck a parked vehicle before coming to rest on its roof in the roadway. No occupants were inside the parked vehicle at the time of the crash.
The Woodstock Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Any questions regarding the cause of the crash, contributing factors, citations, or the status of the investigation should be directed to the Woodstock Police Department.
