The Board will consider a request for special uses to allow motor vehicle sales and an open sales lot.
At its meeting on May 27, 2026, the Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the requested special uses for motor vehicle sales and an open sales lot with the following recommended conditions:
No vehicles listed for sale should be stored in front of the building on the subject property at any time.
- No vehicles in a state of disassembly should be stored in front of the building on the subject
property at any time. - A maximum of three (3) vehicles should be parked in front of the building.
- No more than one (1) vehicle available for sale may be located in front of the building, and
only during an active sales transaction. - Test drives associated with the business should not occur on residential streets in Fox River
Grove. - All vehicle loading and unloading should occur in an expeditious manner.
- The special uses granted should be limited to the Petitioners.
