Work Van Catches Fire

On Friday, May 22, 2026, at 8:02 a.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Judd Street after multiple 911 callers reported a vehicle fire.

Firefighters arrived within minutes and located a delivery-style step van parked in a residential driveway with heavy fire showing from the front of the vehicle.

Crews quickly deployed a hose line while simultaneously establishing a positive water supply from a nearby hydrant.
