Crystal Lake Police Make Arrest in Public Indecency Investigation
On May 6, 2026, at approximately 12:58pm, the Crystal Lake Police Department responded to the area of
Canterbury Elementary School, 875 Canterbury Drive, for the report of a subject who exposed himself to
children and an adult who were outside for recess.

The subject fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Patrol units quickly located the vehicle matching the description provided by a witness.
The investigation resulted in Jack Glauner (69) of 215 Lincolnshire Drive, Crystal Lake being arrested and charged for the incident.
Mr. Glauner was charged with the following offenses:
- Public Indecency-Lewd Exposure-Near School Grounds-720 ILCS 5/11-30(a)(2), a Class 4 felony
- Disorderly Conduct-Breach of Peace-720 ILCS 5/26-1(a)(1), a Class C misdemeanor
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the McHenry County Adult Correctional
Facility.
The Crystal Lake Police Department is actively continuing to investigate this incident.
