In Des Plaines, the Nicholas Family of Companies is hoping to have a public-private partnership. $19.8 million will be loaned to the company to be repaid over twenty years. The figure represents 90% of the cost.
Similar deals have occurred in Elk Grove Village, Vernon Hills and Mount Prospect.
