Fatal MVA
On 3/8/2026 at 7:52am the Huntley Fire Protection District responded to the intersection of Brier Hill Rd and Dietrich Rd in rural Kane County for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Crews arrived within 5 min and found a single vehicle crash, vehicle vs tree with the vehicle heavily involved in flames.
Upon extinguishment of the vehicle fire, one occupant was located in the vehicle deceased.
The age and gender of the occupant are unknown at this time.
The scene was turned over to the Kane County Sheriff’s office for further investigation.
