Reading today’s Chicago Tribune article on some Texas state legislators decamping to Illinois to prevent a quorum reminded me to how Maggie Auger tracked down Wisconsin State Senators to Harvard after they left Rockford.

Reporters Rick Pearson and Jeremy Gorner note that the same tactic was employed by Indiana Democratic Party state legislators in 2011.

But, they forgot how Wisconsin state senators used the same tactic in 2011.

After receiving publicity in Rockford, they drove to Harvard, where Auger tracked them down.

That publicity led them to a home in Bull Valley next to Victor Narusis, who noted Wisconsin license plates in his neighbor’s driveway.
