Alden Road Crash Involving Truck and Camper Trailer
On August 4, 2025, at 4:29 p.m., the Harvard Fire Protection District responded to the intersection of Alden Road and State Line Road in unincorporated Harvard for a reported rollover crash with possible entrapment.

Firefighters arrived and located the crash on Alden Road, just south of the intersection with State Line Road.
The incident involved a single pickup truck pulling a 40-foot camper trailer.

Both the truck and trailer had rolled over; however, the truck came to rest in an upright position.

The crash left debris scattered across the roadway, and both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

The adult male driver, who was the sole occupant, had exited the vehicle prior to arrival.
No extrication was needed. Paramedics evaluated the driver on scene and transported him to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway is expected to be cleared before 8:00 p.m. as towing crews work to upright and remove the overturned trailer and clear remaining debris from the area.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Any additional questions regarding the cause of the crash, fault, or contributing factors should be directed to their office.
