From the McHenry County Coroner:
McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Michael Rein, announced that his office was contacted on March 13, 2025 by McHenry County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the death of Craig M. Ragusin, age 66 of McHenry.
The decedent was found on a trail at Moraine Hills State Park just south of McHenry.
Mr. Ragusin was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation at the scene determined Mr. Ragusin passed away due to natural causes and was released to a local funeral home.
