If the United States were willing to use military force to depose Maduro, many, if not most, who have left the country because of the disastrous socialist policies would want to return.

My friend said the country’s air force consists of one jet from Russia and two from the U.S.
Geography, the capital sits in a bowl with one entrance/exit to the north and one to the south, plus the harbor.
He thinks U.S. Forces could easily take control and allow the installation of the democratically-elected government.
Plane fares would be much cheaper than building a fence, he argued.
The question is whether President Trump would be willing to take the negative publicity such an invasion would garner.
