Woodstock death investigation
McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Michael Rein, announced on Tuesday June 17, 2025, that his office was contacted by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office to investigate the death of Laurana Talo, age 27 of Walworth, Wisconsin.
The decedent was found deceased at the edge of a corn field close to the intersection of Rt 14 and Hughes Rd.
An autopsy will be performed on June 18, 2025. The Coroner’s Office is continuing to work collaboratively with McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and the Woodstock Fire and Rescue Department during this
investigation.
