Perennial Candidate Arne Waltmire Finally Wins One

Arbe Walmire was an auto mechanics teacher in the Crystal Lake High School District.

There he was elected an regional officer of the Illinois Education Association, the teachers union.

I can’t remember all the offices he has sought.

He was appointed to the McHenry Grade School District 15 Board in 2023.

McHenry County College Board comes to mind as does the McHenry County Board.

There were others.

Now, running unopposed, he has captured a seat on the McHenry Grade School District 15 Board.
