The U.S. Supreme Court has voted along parrisan lines to allow the Trump Administration to continue with its plan to tighten .the rules about ballots castby mail.
Democrats in Illinois and elsewhere are really disturbed.

I asked McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio fr his take.
It appears below:
“I along with
- my colleagues in the Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders (IACCR),
- the Illinois Attorney General,
- Illinois State Board of Elections, and
- our State’s Attorney
have been monitoring President Trump’s Executive Orders and the related court decisions.
“The bottom line is that the USPS is prevented from handling the mail any differently at this time.
“That may change and likely more will change as some of these other cases get heard and potentially legislation gets passed.
“In the meantime, we will do what we can to plan for the election with an eye towards flexibility in the context of the possible outcomes.”
