The Democrats’ budget for next year has lots of pork.
Each State Representative got $1.5 million.
Unfortunately, the budget does not identify what legislators put what items in budget to curry favor with their constituents.
Going by the locations, I’m guessing the following appropriations were added add by Democratic State Representative Sue Ness:
- $500,000 to Crystal Lake for new community center
- $400,000 to East Dundee for a development project
- $100,000 for CASA Kane County for a new building
- $250,000 to Carpentersville for improving a riverfront park
- $250,000 to Algonquin for improving Willaughby Farms Park
