From the Coroner:
McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Michael, announced that his office was contacted on April 13, 2026 by the Spring Grove Police Department to investigate the death of Kyriakos (K.C.) Iatropoulos, age 35, of Spring Grove. Mr. Iatropoulos was found at Springdale Trails with a gun shot wound to the head.
An autopsy was performed on April 14, 2026. Toxicology is currently pending at this time.
The Coroner’s Office is continuing to work collaboratively with Spring Grove Police Department, and Spring Grove Fire Department.
