From McHenry County Right-to-Life:

After much prayer, discernment, and thoughtful consideration, we are writing to share an important and exciting step forwart.

Right to Life of McHenry County will be transitioning its mission and operations under The Mission of Cor Jesu in Woodstock.

This decision is not an ending, rather it is a strengthening and continuation of the work you have faithfully supported for many years.

For decades, Right to Life of McHenry County has served our community by promoting the sanctity of human life through education, awareness, and support of local pro-life efforts. Due to your generosity and commitment, this mission has touched countless lives and helped build a culture of life in our county.

Over time, the focus of Right to Life has centered on education, awareness, and supporting pro-life initiatives locally.

The Mission of Cor Jesu already carries this same commitment, while also providing a strong and established foundation through its ministries, events, and outreach efforts. This transition allows the mission to continue in a way that is more sustainable, unified, and impactful for the future.

Importantly, this is not a new relationship. Over the past several years, Right to Life of McHenry County and The Mission of Cor Jesu have worked closely together. Cor Jesu has supported pro-life rallies, Right to Life has supported the Cor Jesu Life Conference, and both organizations have collaborated in promoting and advancing healing ministries such as Rachel’s Vineyard. This transition simply formalizes a partnership that has already been bearing fruit.

Through this transition:

  • The mission of promoting a culture of life will continue and expand
  • Resources will be stewarded more effectively to maximize impact
  • Pro-life efforts in McHenry County will be more unified and strengthened
  • Opportunities for education, outreach, and support will continue to grow

For the foreseeable future, the name Right to Life of McHenry County will continue to be used and will remain active within the local pro-life community under the umbrella of The Mission of Cor Jesu.

We are deeply grateful for your faithful support over the years, and we ask for your continued prayers and support as we move forward together in building a culture of life and bringing hearts closer to Christ.

With gratitude,

Right to Life of McHenry County
