Structure Fire
At approximately 12:03 p.m. today, the McHenry Township Fire Protection District (MTFPD) responded to a report of a structure fire in the 2400 block of S. Riverview Dr. in the Village of Holiday Hills.

Crews arrived on the scene in just under seven minutes to find two houses and a detached garage on fire.
The fire was upgraded to a working fire response to bring in additional personnel and water tenders.
MTFPD crews deployed two hose lines and had the fire under control in approximately fifteen minutes and fully extinguished in approximately thirty minutes.
There were no injuries to any civilians or firefighters.MTFPD received assistance from the Cary, Crystal Lake, Fox Lake, Nunda, Round Lake, Wauconda, Wonder Lake, and Woodstock fire departments, either on the scene or at our fire stations, along with support from the Salvation Army Canteen.
All three buildings sustained fire and smoke damage and are not habitable.
The American Red Cross is assisting the affected homeowners.
MTFPD investigators are investigating the fire, and a damage estimate is not available at this
time.
