Tedora M. Brown’s removal from the ballot of Republicans seeking to oppose incumbent Bill Foster by the State Board of Elections for failing by a very little bit to have enough valid signatures has been upheld by a Circuit Court Judge.

Teadora Brown was in the Marengo Parade.
The elections board ruled Brown’s petitions had 798 valid signatures, one short of the required 799.
Three Republicans remain in the fray:
- Jeff Walter of Elburn,
- Naperville resident Michael Pierce and
- Aurora resident Charlie Kim
