Previously this week, McHenry County Blog published articles showing the financial status of the McHenry County Democratic Party and the McHenry County Democratic Women have a hefty bank account.
Now, let’s look at the local GOP.
Money in the bank at the end of 2015: $15,675.95
Income for the October through December reporting period was $2,300.50.
Itemized receipts follow:
- Eric Hendricks – $650
- Donna Kurtz – $250
- Mike Shorten – $250
- Joe Tirio – $250
All are elected county officials.
In addition other receipts reported were $325 for a Precinct Committeeperson dinner from the Central Committee, plus $275 in unrevealed donations.
$1,000 a month is reported for rent donated as an in-kind contribution from Madison Corporate Group.
Spending includes
- Amazon – about $310 for supplies
- Comcast – about $480
- Niko’s Bar and Grill – $2,669.61
- Sam’s Club and Walmart – $1,128 for candy
- Erik Siversten – $200 gift
$203 was spent in smaller amounts,
The Republican Party spent $5,300 and raised $2,300 bringing their $18,650 beginning balance down to $15,676.
