| I want to thank you for your support and interest in my campaign. I have made the decision to temporarily suspend my campaign for one week. A few key supporters and friends have lost their nerve amidst tremendous political pressure from Washington D.C. interests. They have asked me to step back and reflect on my candidacy. They worry that a strongly pro-U.S.-Israel and small-business friendly candidate cannot win a Democratic primary in the 9th Congressional District. I respectfully disagree with their political analysis and am certain that I have a viable if unconventional pathway to victory in this stratified race. Nonetheless, out of respect I have agreed to press pause. I will check back with you in the New Year, but until then I wish you and yours a joyous end of the year.
