From State Rep. Sue Ness:
Its official—we submitted 1,500 signatures! Once again, I’m humbled at the support I received from friends, family and new volunteers. I’m approaching my fourth campaign for D66 State Representative, and my fifth campaign overall. I know what lies ahead of me now that the first step is over. My team and I are prepared to lead as we always have; with care, determination, and humility.
I want to say THANK YOU to every volunteer who gathered signatures, and to every constituent who signed! Your belief in me to continue to lead our wonderful District 66 in Springfield means everything. I want to also thank the The Dundee Democrats, The Elgin Democrats, The McHenry County Democrats and the Kane County Democrats for gathering signatures, and for their continued support through the years.
This is my fourth campaign, and third re-election campaign for State Representative. While I’ve gained support of swing voters over the years, my team and I know that we can never let up our campaign efforts in a battleground district like D66. We’ve kept our fundraising efforts up during this non-campaign year, and are strategizing our 2026 campaign. With that being said, it’s never too early to donate. If you can support Citizens for Suzanne Ness, chip in any amount at this link.
Thank you again to everyone who continues to make this possible.
See you on the campaign trail,
Suzanne Ness
