From the Coroner:
McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Michael Rein, announced that his office was contacted on October 27, 2025, around 9 pm by Northwestern McHenry Hospital to investigate the death of Abigale Fugett, age 23, of Johnsburg.
The decedent was apparently struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Running Brook Farm Blvd and N. Richmond Rd.
Ms. Fugett was transported to NW McHenry Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
An autopsy will be performed on Friday October 31, 2025. The Coroner’s Office is continuing to work
collaboratively with Johnsburg PD and McHenry Township Fire Department.
