Dabrowski Earns Key Endorsements in Governor Race
Wheaton, Illinois – Yesterday, former State Representatives Jeanne Ives and Tom Morrison and former DuPage County Auditor Bob Grogan endorsed Ted Dabrowski for Governor.
Ives and Morrison served in the Illinois House of Representatives together and both noted that they frequently worked with Dabrowski on a variety of issues.
“No one knows the issues better than Ted, and subsequently, nobody is better positioned to attract independent suburban voters on the merits of who can do better for Illinois families.
“We’re calling on our fellow pro-life and pro-family voters to join us in supporting someone who shares our values and is in the best position to win fighting for them,” Ives said.
Morrison said, “For the past 15 years I’ve known Ted, and whether I was in office or out, I’ve been so grateful for his insights and understanding and how to get Illinois on the new and better path that we’re capable of and that we deserve if we get the right leadership.”
“We owe it to our children, and our parents, and the disabled, and citizens, and taxpayers – we have to actually govern and there’s been a failure of governance for way too long.
“Ted can govern.
“I know all these other players that are here in this Republican primary, and without hesitation, Ted passed that test.
“He is arguably as conservative as any of the rest of them, but he can govern far better than any of the rest of them.
“And he has the highest likelihood of actually getting elected,” said Grogan.
Endorsements from these three conservative standard bearers are highly sought out.
Ives noted that she previously supported Darren Bailey, but that we have a much better option this time
around.
Dabrowski thanked the three conservative leaders and noted that in his time working with legislators, Ives and Morrison were the best at representing the grassroots and real reform.
