From the Village of Fox River Grove agenda:
The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance that would reduce the cable television operator tax in Fox River Grove.
Subsequent to this action, the Village will direct Comcast to reduce its franchise fee from 5% to 1% to mirror the tax reduction. Initial estimates indicate that this reduction will save residents and businesses $45,000 per year.
